With everything on my plate, it has been such a pleasure to have little Elena at my heels asking to help every single (stinkin') step of the way. What would I have done without her?
Really though - her enthusiasm over Christmas this year has been one of the sweetest things I've experienced up to this point as a mom!

I still don't have my ornaments up on my tree...I should have had Elena do it last week when ya'll were here:)
I don't mean to seem critical, but it appears Laney has beat you all to heck in the ornament hanging density department. Maybe you should try to work a little faster.

That's so cute! It looks just like our tree did when Emma was that age. Don't worry--her arms will reach a few more inches up next year. :)
