Evan waved "bye-bye" last night!
I'm grinning ear to ear writing this because it was so sweet to see! I was feeding Evan some yogurt. Ben came home, and as is the routine, said, "hello" to everyone, then scooped up Elena to go get the mail (it's kinda their thing). Ben just casually said, "Bye, Evan" as he walked to the front door, and then I noticed it! -- Evan's hand opening and closing. I squealed, and told Ben to say, "bye" again. Sure enough, Evan did the same thing.
We tried to recreate the event this afternoon so I could get a picture. Ben's standing behind me waiving. Elena couldn't resist speeding things up by reminding Evan how to do it.
