My Kid's Easter Basket Ate Your Kid's Easter Basket

So many cute pictures from today, but I had to at least post this one before bed. I've gotten so much flack about the ginormity of my kids' Easter baskets... and it is all deserved. :)

i have giggled all day about those baskets. the easter bunny must really love your kids to fill those suckers up? did you get one for asher or are you still using it as a bassenette?

That is hilarious! Jon is making fun of me because I am sitting here laughing out loud to myself. I say whatever way you can come up with to get more candy, the better! Do you secretly stash your kid candy like I do and tell them it's gone? Have a wonderful Easter! Love the bluebonnet pics!

The title alone was enough for me to deem this post awesome... then I saw the picture :) You know, if you include Asher as part of Elena's Easter basket, you'd only have to fill up the other 85% with stuff ;-)

There is an optimum size for an Easter basket (big enough to hold all the loot you find; small enough to run without fear of being blown across the lawn by sudden wind gusts). Lanie's does seem a little on the large side of this perfect standard. Were you trying to toughen her up?

I maintain that her larger mass allows her to clear away all the competition, necessitating the larger basket to hold all the eggs. It's a vicious cycle...
